In order to evaluate a site base on the state of Tennessee’s Regulations to Govern Subsurface Sewage Disposal, sites are required to be:

1. Property Corners or Building site clearing marked.  This can be with flags, stakes and or fence posts.
2. All Subdivision Plats shall have property corners staked.
3. Heavy vegetation must be mowed or bush hogged.  If the site is wooded, underbrush needs to be removed.  We are needing not only the building site but also the septic system location.  The more that is cleaned up, the more options we may have.
